DevOps Engineer (Microservices & Mobile)

Location: Paris, France

The Carrousel platform is built on a sophisticated, cloud-native microservice architecture that powers a seamless experience across web and mobile. We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance as we grow our global user base.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and scale our Kubernetes-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Automate our entire CI/CD pipeline, from code commit to production deployment, enabling our engineers to ship features with speed and confidence.
  • Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for both our backend services and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to ensure our infrastructure is reproducible and version-controlled.
  • Oversee database management, performance tuning, and backup strategies (e.g., for PostgreSQL, Redis).
  • Champion security best practices across the entire stack, from network configuration to application-level hardening.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and a major cloud provider (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure welcome).
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Proficient in setting up and managing monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and mobile-specific monitoring (e.g., Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics).
  • Comfortable with scripting and automation in languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
  • You have a proactive mindset, always looking to improve system resilience and developer efficiency.
